Lytic filtrates, active against Bacillus dysenterioe Shiga, Bacillus coli, Bacillus pestis cavioe, and staphylococcus respectively, proved to be differently affected by changes in hydrogen ion concentration. Anti-staphylococcus lysin was the least resistant of the four, showing deterioration in 3 hours at 7 degrees C. beyond the zone of hydrogen ion concentration limited by C(H) = 6.3 x 10(-5) and C(H) = 1.6 x 10(-9).
Historically, psychopharmaceutical agents have been used to produce a mystical state with the religious connotation of "a union with Divine Nature" or of "oneness with God." Such transcendental states are also known to occur in starvation, self-flagellation, Yoga and various psychoses.A common psychological origin is suggested for these states, in which there is a psychic regression to an early phase of development.
A histological study of the ovular membranes made by the authors showed that they represent an organ closely resembling the placenta and led them to believe that the metabolic processes that regulate the amniotic fluid occur in all the membranes and more especially in the region of the cytotrophoblast in the chorion that delimits the amniotic cavity.
Each norm conception is self-limiting and, consequently, may be incorrect in individual cases. This contradiction is eluced by considering norm and individuality as a dialectic oneness when judging a situation. The individual characteristics of the growth and development of the dentition are determined by a great number of specific features. The importance of the individual tooth sizes and of the specific rhythm of dentition is used to emphasize that the assessment must aim at determining the patient's individual developmental optimum.
