A growing body of research on caloric restriction (CR) in many species of laboratory animals suggests that underfeeding leads to better health and longevity in the calorically-restricted animal (e.g., see [[34]. Tested the efficacy of a smoking satiation procedure with reduced medical risk. As predicted, experimental taste satiation (holding smoke in the mouth with occasional inhalations) suppressed habitual smoking as effectively as rapid smoking satiation. OBJECTIVE: To investigate the mechanisms underlying the satiety-promoting effects of a novel protease inhibitor concentrate derived from potato (PPIC).
